Took my binder off a day early and showered. Don’t think I’ve enjoyed a shower so much in ages lol. Can’t scrub as I’m sore all over but I at least don’t smell like the hospital now.

Ate a huge lunch. Kids team all met for dinner so I ate fast food. I still need to get in some protein today but I’m already at my calories for the day. Guess I’ll be going over.

I ❤️ Robert Irvine’s fitCRUNCH bars. Walmart is the only place near me that carries them. They’ve been out for weeks. Checked today and there are two beat up boxes shoved behind other kinds! Yay me! Set my snickers aside and will have the protein bar instead. They better keep them in stock or they’ll have a crazy lady with protein bar withdrawals on their hands lol.

Kid had her last volleyball game tonight. Went to that, picked up kids at school, shopping for half an hour, dropped of snacks for my youngest’s class and drove around with hubby to look at fields. Fairly active day! I am dragging now though! Fishing field trip tomorrow as well as my sister in laws grand opening. Then Sunday the food drive. So busy! At least I think Saturday is free. Will do my best to stay in bed all day!

Swelling is down. I look like I did at about 145 or so but not bad. Pain is very little. One 800mg ibuprofen at lunch and that’s all I’ve had today. Not sure why but surgery doesn’t bother me as much as others I guess.

Crikey - I think you're supposed to REST - not fly around like some sort of triathlon on speed. Hahahaha.

Lol yeah. I find it hard to rest when I’m supposed to. I get lazy when I’m supposed to be active haha. This has to be one of the easiest recoveries yet. I mean my side hurts and my whole abdomen isn’t very comfortable but no real pain. Ibuprofen gets rid of all of it when I’m sitting still or laying down. Only have a twinge when I try to reach above my head with my right arm or when I try to walk fast. Hubby ain’t much in support or babying anyone so I got to haul around my bag with the kids toys and snacks. Also a jacket, drinks etc. Stuff needs done and I’m the only one who will do it so I do it :/. The older girls have stuff to do and carry and I do for me and the youngest. He did bring me a bottle of water just now and a couple apples. Passed on the apples. Im thinking that if I keep going as I am now then I’ll be ready for a real walk by next week! 😁. For fishing tomorrow I’ll just be sitting I think. No clue on food drive. Another mom offered to take the kids so I may just sit in the car and wait for 2 hours. Or sit at the park and read 😊. My activity and healing will catch up to me tomorrow or Saturday. That’s usually when I crash and sleep 10-12 hours. I’ll get rest just not right now haha.
