I am tired, sore, and happy. I did a DIY job today for the first time since my knee injuries. I pulled out the sliding doors on my bathtub, scrubbed out all the mildew and caulk, then hung a new rod and curtains. I love the liner because it has all kinds of pockets for those dumb things you need in the shower that are too small or fidgety to fit anywhere without falling.

Then I totally scoured the rest of the bathroom and created new organization for our various bottles and potions.

Did two big sets of dishes, three loads of laundry, and walked the dog. I am creaking and my knees are protesting, but I feel like it's a different type of ache from "pain". It was hot and sweaty work and I'm sure I burned a couple of calories :)

I prefer to work hard than work out but I could tell today that there are quite a few muscles on my body that haven't seen the light of day in a long time. Now that I'm feeling better I feel more confident about going to a gym or starting something at home. My PT said riding a bike would be really helpful but my bike is in kind of sorry shape. Maybe a recumbent stationary bike would be better.

I have a stationary bike and use it daily. It allows me to adjust the tension as I grow my muscle strength. If you get one try to find one that allows increased tension. I found it was easier on my weak muscles to grow on this. Now I am up to level 7 kicking it.
