Another day in the books. A remarkable day, in that I had several incredible foods that I’ve been wanting for days, like melon and avocado. I know I ended up being under my goal in calories, but that’s ok. I had to read the nutrition label for a “small” box of caramel M&M’s that I bought for my sweet husband, and almost fell over: 400!!!! 😷 made the cravings go right away. Nope, not for me. This girl loves sugar free unless it’s fructose. And I’m all about it!

I got so much cleaning done today, this house has been scrubbed top to bottom. I’ve usually struggled to not snack continuously or drink beer during this activity. But I took 2 breaks for fun and filling meals, and otherwise have enjoyed time spent with my family. I actually said no to making popcorn tonight! I saved myself some guilt, nausea, and scale fluctuations. It’s going to be sooner rather than later, but I’m going to plan a day and maybe meal plan it into my calories.

I am feeling stronger today, and I’m sure I’ll see a nice drop in the morning. Tomorrow I’ll probably be mostly on my own with the kids, since hubby will be working til tomorrow morning. I’ll have to stay strong about my food choices, as I tend to be impulsive around the “naughty “ food they mostly eat. (It’s not actually naughty, just not south Beach)

My heart is full, and my stomach not so much. Feeling great on this Saturday night!
