So what to do with shredded Brussel sprouts? Fry up half a pound of bacon. Crumble and set aside.
Drain that bacon grease except for a table spoon or so. Leave the rest in the pan.
Add 1/4 cup butter to that grease along with 3 green onions and a 1/4 cup of your fav nuts (pine nuts called for). Cook until onions start to brown.
Throw in a pound of shredded Brussel sprouts and let them just start to brown round the edges too. Mix in that bacon, salt n pepper to taste and serve it up! Bet you can’t stop at 2 cups!

I think this is close....Per Serving: 217 calories; 15.8 g fat; 12.4 g carbohydrates; 10.2 g protein; 26 mg cholesterol; 344 mg sodium.
