Always so happy to see Sunday's roll around! Why is that... well for one, today is my only day to do what I want! My husband is so good to me, and for a long time now - he has made it a point to give me some 'me' time back, by being the one to stay home w/ Mom... or take me out.. or whatever it is I need on that particular time.
Today is go to church day.. Love doing that! We have a very active and particularly engaging Worship time.. and I love music, love love love Worship - if you've never totally enjoyed that about church...I recommend you keep looking for a church with a more contemporary style. It's awesome!
I will be going to the gym for a pre-SuperBowl Workout!!! this afternoon.
Planning on making Taco Salads w/out the shells for the game (well, at least for hubby and I). Everyone else can have them too..but they tend to want the chips or burrito shells etc, and I don't have any in the house, and don't plan on buying them.
I will be making some homemade buffalo wings (mayo, no sugar added ketchup and hot sauce) baked in the oven.
And some celery w/ cream cheese for snackers.
Never a dull moment around here.. so hubby has been working on replacing the ceiling in our entry way.. (for the last 6 months! lol!)
Yesterday he decided to replace the old knob and tube wiring (which should have been done generations ago!) And basically shut down the power to the entire house by accident. It took all day, and all night to get one wire found to figure out which connection would put it all back on!!! What a day!
Weight is trending back in the right direction again. Not sure about the lastest blip...but thinking it might just have been an off day and water related.
This week's plan is to be down another pound by next weekend. Protein, Salads, Veggies, an occasional apple w/ almond butter - that's pretty much my daily menu's. No overeating! Which has felt good. No real changes one way or the other... but I am happy to at least see it coming back in the right direction. Now to keep it going down! Isn't that the challenge of the century!!! (huh?Stef!)
Must say, I am so particularly proud of you Stef - you're willingness to stick with this, adapt, make changes, do what you have to do to make a start again, over and over.. it's hard. Hard to keep up the willingness, the motivation, the commitment... Sometimes, you just have to be committed to your commitments!
Very proud of you! Happy for you too!!! I'm happy for everyone's losses.. really I am.. but if you don't know Stef or her story.. well, check it out! She's a powerhouse!
Happy Sunday... and GO PATRIOTS!!! Much Love.
