Monday, Monday! Feeling good, back on track & staying my course -- which I'm calling lactose & gluten free and sugar conscious! And, starting my day in prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Ready to take it one day, meal, moment, bite & emotion at a time. But, have changed my mind on the "to log or not to log" internal debate. I'm logging for now as it gives me the assurance that I'm staying in the right calorie range without getting too caught up in the actual number but instead focusing on eating mindfully. I'm also working on living mindfully starting with meditating daily. Hope all my FS friends are doing well! xoxo

Happy Monday to you too. Everybody is different but I think I do better logging - too many little treats sneak in when I don't. Now all I have to do is remember to do it!

I just have to keep asking myself if I am really hungry or bored. Yesterday for me was a success. We had a crockpot of white chicken chili in the kitchen. I ate my one bowl and even though my mouth wanted more I reminded myself it wasn't going anywhere and I could always eat a bowl today. I hate when food is left out and also when I have to get in it 5 or 6 times that day after I eat to fix the kids and hubby a bowl when they got hungry. I dunno why I have to be such a good cook... It's a curse and a blessing lol!

Thanks my friends! Iama, I'm striving to get to the point where I can figure out if I'm truly hungry or not, but I'm not there yet. Hoping if I keep practice eating mindfully, it will help.

Ruhu, Keep logging. It is a very important tool in your toolbox. As for meditating, I have got to hand it to you for trying to constantly improve. Bravo! I have implemented meditation to my mornings twice a week to start. It is very difficult to do. I do practice Dr. Weil's 4-7-8 breathing technique http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/VDR00112/The-4-7-8-Breath-Benefits-and-Demonstration.html every day which has been extremely helpful to me. Try it. Keep up the good work.

Sometimes food gets the better of me too. I just make more good decisions then I used to.
