New record low weight: 184.6. Seventy-four pounds lost. Hooray! I didn't report on stats day before yesterday, but all was good that day - met all my goals and only had 4 cans of Diet Coke. Yesterday was also a good day: Protein 138.04 grams; Fiber 50.2g; Calories were high at 2,051 (average daily calories for the week ended up being 1,994/day); drank a gallon of Water; Walked 6.5 miles, but only did my lying Exercises (not sitting or standing ones). I decided that I have too much to do in preparation for surgery to fret about the Exercises, after having done 67 days of them already.
Food Lion had their Nature Valley Chewy Protein Bars on sale for $3.99 for a box of 5 yesterday, so I got a couple of new flavors to try: Blueberry Nut and Coconut Almond. The blueberry ones were fairly good (and I won't let them go to waste), but I loved the coconut almond ones. Going to go back today and get any other flavors that I haven't tried, as well as another box of the Salted Caramel and the Peanut Almond Dark Chocolate ones that I loved from the Variety Pack I got from Amazon. Actually, those last two are IN that Variety pack, and it is even cheaper than buying them on sale at Food Lion, so I just re-ordered that. Still will look for new flavors to try, though. Variety is the spice of life!
Began packing my overnight(s) bag for the hospital last night. Have the rest of the things I will need in the laundry now. Just toiletries and food left to pack. Will have to pack the electronics on Wednesday night. I'm taking my laptop so I can post updates without having to use just one finger on my phone. I'm praying I will get an EARLY appointment on Thursday (before the surgeon gets behind schedule, as he is known to do!) I'm also praying they will let me know the time before 5pm the night before (they are supposed to call between 5-8pm to give an arrival time).
Ok, time to walk my 3rd mile (it's 4:39am - I got up at 1am). Y'all keep Yearofhealth2023 in your prayers - her surgery is on Wednesday, and she's been unable to sleep because of anxiety about it. Mine is Thursday, but I am totally stoked!
