Haven't quite hit that 250-pound mark yet. This morning was again 249.8. I feel like I'm teetering on the edge of a cliff, about to plunge to the depths below.
Thankfully, I finished off the Franklin Nut Cake today. There will be many of those in my future, though, as I strive to capture the exact essence of the old family recipe. Unfortunately, it has been so long since my mother-in-law or her sister have made it, that no one quite remembers what it is supposed to taste like. Everyone who has tasted my attempts has really liked it, though.
Praise the Lord, I am back on my full dosage of Rexulti, after having to cut it in half to keep from running out cold turkey. I think my brain is happy now, because I am getting some "results," like actually putting in a load of laundry to wash today. I have another load at the ready to go in once I put the first one in the dryer.
It's snowing here today (Virginia). We're only supposed to get up to 2", but then it is going to rain, so it will all melt. We canceled our church service this morning, so nobody has to weather the slick roads, or risk taking a fall. (Almost all of our church members are retirement age.)
At some point, I guess I should undress my Christmas tree! Another day.
