Well, this is the Journal Entry you've all been waiting for. Day 55 of the fast, and I MET MY GOAL of reaching 199 and losing 60 pounds in six months)! When I first woke up at 3:30 this morning, I was at 199.6. I forced myself to go back to sleep, knowing that I would have to pee again when I woke up later. When I woke up, I changed into my lightest weight pajamas and took off my socks before going to the scale, and it was 198.8! HOORAY!!! Praise the Lord! He did it! He answered all my prayers and performed the (nearly impossible) task of enabling me to lose almost FORTY pounds in just under eight weeks.
Disclaimer: I would not advise anybody to fast for 55 days. Though I had no ill-effects from it, felt fine through the whole process (actually had MORE energy and ambition up to the last week), and didn't experience any hunger - it was something that I felt led of the Lord to do for MYSELF and it was only by HIS empowerment that I was able to do it.
I just answered, in response to a question in one of my other Journal entries, both what I am going to do food-wise and what I am going to do money-wise now that I've reached my goal.
I may have to wait up to a week before they have officially verified my video weigh-out, so I need to maintain at least 199 or less just in case they need me to submit another video (this happens rarely, but they advise you to maintain your weight until officially approved). Since returning to eating will make me automatically gain anywhere from 5-10 pounds almost immediately, I'm going to continue the fast until I've received the confirmation. I may try eating just a tiny bit, just to see if I can maintain it, but I'm prepared to continue fasting if I need to.

God graciously granted our petitions by giving me supernatural empowerment, resolve, and commitment (which are NOT like "me").
