One day OFF. One day back ON. Now on my 2nd consecutive day back OFF the wagon. I have no self-control. I want to eat everything all the time - not because I'm hungry, but just because I WANT it. I had a Magnum ice cream bar last night. Don't think I've ever had Belgian chocolate before. It was very "creamy" tasting. The PBJ's are nice and crunchy. The Diet Coke is so nice and fizzy. I think it is the sensory things about the food that draws me to them - the texture, taste, smell, feel. Or, maybe it's all psychological. Regardless of the REASON, the fact is that I'm not where I'm supposed to be. Rethinking Keto altogether. Is there a Diet Plan where you can eat as much of you want of ANYTHING you want to eat? A magic weight-loss pill? (I've tried many that were total failures.) I must admit that I feel more "depressed" when I'm OFF-PLAN. When I'm sticking with it, I at least have a feeling of accomplishment and pride somewhat. Now, I just feel defeated and like a failure.
238.5 lb Lost so far: 20.5 lb.    Still to go: 88.5 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

when I feel like that I have to take off all my clothes, stand in front of the mirror and judge myself and then uplift myself by thinking what I will look like and how it is worth it. sounds strange but when I see my fat I want to change so bad. Then I go take 1 bite of what I am craving and go for a walk.

The only way to get over this small temporary misstep is to forgive yourself and start fresh today. I also lost it a bit this weekend. First visit after lockdown and you know how it is you celebrate, so lasagna and cinnamon buns etc etc, but today is a new day for you and I. Think about that feeling when you start loosing again, when people start noticing, the way you feel in control when you celebrate the wins no matter how small and the way your body starts feeling healthier. We can do this together. Planning is key and also not restricting yourself to the food you don't like. I hate cucumber, it gives me indigestion, I dislike tomato. so as much as I want to; a nice green salad does not work for me. I love counting kilojoules because I can adapt my recipes to be healthier. We are in this together, this is just a bump in the road.

Oh Debbie. I am so sorry you are 'stuck'. I honestly think you need to try Whole 30 or Wheat Bely Detox. Whole 30 is lowish carbs but you can have potato. Wheat belly is lowish carbs. Ive followed both. BOTH cut grains. Stabilise blood sugar. I suspect thats what you need. -and a hug.

Sorry, meant to say, its your blood sugars see sawing that is making your appetite screwy. You need low carb to settle it and give you control again. An fresh view on it would possibly help, by looking into the two Ways Of Eating I mentioned ;)
