We keep on trying don't we? we all have been there. Let's do it again and this time it will be different, we will succeed and not gain it back.

Slipping backwards is normal...trying not to go all the way back to the beginning is a goal. Knowing it is harder to re-lose those regained pounds is a fact of life. Life is too short to beat yourself up for what mother nature does to you. Unrealistic expectations for ourselves is to blame for a lot of heartbreak. If you did it once, you can do it again (and again and again). You are not alone...we are all on the same path and falling and picking ourselves up the same. Never give up. The light at the end of the tunnel does not have to be a paramedic with a flashlight.

My 36-day weight-loss track (recording my weight every day) looks like a "scalloped window valance," with a gradual declining trend. It's encouraging and seems like reasonable progress.
My doctor is amused at and surprised by the thoroughness of my daily record-keeping: food, "macros," blood sugar and blood pressure readings, amount of medication taken, exercise, changes in medication regimen. It works for me, helping keep me focused on the task at hand: getting healthy!

Miraculum - Keeping track works for me too - it's not for everyone but I feel a bit more in control

Miraculum, wouldn't your doctor expect you to be so thorough were you fighting cancer or going through fertility treatments? This is certainly no less important. Personally, I find record keeping very freeing.

Record keeping is essential for me too, as my progress on the scales is so slow
