It's weird that my knees aren't giving me trouble, but now my lower back hurts. Gaining mostly around my waist. My bad habits are so ingrained right now, I am not sure if I can overcome them by myself.
I am probably going to need a hysterectomy this summer to get rid of fibroids. The doc didn't say I needed to lose weight, but I'm sure things would go better if I did.
I feel like I need an intervention.

Start by picking one habit to change. Or, add one healthy habit. It is very hard when things seem overwhelming. like you will never win this battle. I am a believer in the idea that every little bit helps and eventually all those small changes will add up to a healthier you.

May I ask how old you are? Fibroids will shrink with age. You are much better off if you can stay 'intaked'.

Thank you, izzypup. The one habit I am trying to give up this week is eating desserts. Setting the bar pretty low!

Schmetterling, I am 60. My doc didn't mention that fibroids would shrink, but maybe if I drop some weight, they won't bother me so much. I feel bloated.

Thank you, John10251! Although it's just fluctuation at this point.

A loss is a loss. Roll with it. Fluctuations are normal. That's how trends are made. Keep up the good work...
