End of Month report - Very pleased with a just under 7Kg loss - The first half of the month was low fat and second half low carb. Average cals was 1970, at this level I am not feeling hungry much. The rate of loss was was consistent through the month. On balance I prefer the taste of the low carb food choices. So the plan for month two is to continue with low carbs of 50/60g per day with the same calorie count. Additionally I will try to increase the exercise a little. I have very little injury and illness to report just a bit of a hurty right shoulder - I think from throwing a box of bolts into a skip. Wardrobe malfunction wise I am months away from calamity risk, my pants are all snug!
Today I am taking my mum to see some snowdrops and will be having my first meal at a restaurant. Hopefully therewill be some low carb options.

That's a great result. When in doubt while eating out opt for anything that's a lump of meat or cheese with a salad and dressing on the side, not over it (so you can decide how much you want if any). Have a great day!

If it is a good restaurant they should let you mix and match. I manage to mix and match even when I am in a supermarket cafe. Let us know what you settle on. I also take my own dressing in a little jar as store bought dressings can be packed with sugar.

Well done on the experimentation (and loss natch!), I'm such a dullard when it comes to changing my diet. On my walk there is a paddock filled with hundreds of snowdrop plants which is beautiful, just waiting for the bluebells now! Have a lovely day out, sounds bliss.
