Everything is more or less fine, but having shattered my routine during vacation, and then having been laid low with illness, I have not made the same commitment to myself that I had before. No question about it; I know what I need to do, and now I just need to do it. I am doing so great in general, but what I definitely don't want is to go back to my old size and shape. I am thrilled to be in my own skin lately, but I have to take it easy on the desserts. In general, I still eat well, and though I have not been recording (naughty!), I am still eating somewhat as if I were, except for the extra treats. Also, it has been hard to go walking, but I have been somewhat active doing the chores around here.
But I have to remember what this is all about: changing permanently to a healthier lifestyle and being happier with myself than I remember being since childhood. I have not met my stated goal yet (130 lbs.), but it is not far away. Then I still have to figure out a "final" goal and get there. Then I just have to keep that shape, but can eat any extra calories I use, which should be interesting. Good luck to any fellow travelers who may read this. We can do this!
