Weight is slightly down this morning. I did try to eat a bit less during the day, had an apple instead of dessert at lunch, and went out for a little walk. Dinner was nice. We went to a place that's basically a horse-riding centre, and also has a range of accommodation options. They have also now started doing food, not too fancy, good home-style cooking, and a cosy, friendly atmosphere, much nicer than where we went the night before. I think portions were a bit smaller than the night before, as I didn't feel so stuffed after.
It would be very good if I could learn to stop eating before I feel stuffed!!! At home I only put on my plate what I know I should eat. Maybe I should put some extra stuff that I should attempt to leave? It would be a bit weird to do this, but might work as a training exercise.
Still plenty of salt though, which is why I am surprised that weight has gone down at all. It's encouraging, though! I'm using my own scales, btw, as I brought them with me. I'm glad I did, too. It's good to see the results of my eating on a day to day basis!
