Nice drop in weight this week, mainly down to the 5:2 regime I followed. The first part of the week wasn't great with a couple of days above RDI (but always a net deficit with regard to calories in and out), but Wednesday and Thursday I was really good having my breakfast cereal and Alpro Almond (albeit at lunch time) and a 450 - 500 cal ding for dinner. Both days I consumed less than 900 calories, which for a 6ft tall, 16 stone man is good going. I seriously believe I can stick to this 5:2 pattern without too much hardship. We will see!

With a BMI of 30 I have (according to the NHS Choices calculator) moved from Obese to Overweight. What a wonderful day.

Well done! I'm a big fan of 5:2. I'd have real trouble losing any weight without it.
