madanjen, sorry about your gain. You need a plan that will fit your life so gains don't happen in the future. You might want to re-think your plan so it's one for life not a yo-yo that you cannot live with 24/7 and adapt as you go along. Just my opinion.

Thanks wholefoodnut, I appreciate any advice I get. I actually knew this was coming and in a way, it was planned. I sort of planned to gain weight in the last month and a half of summer. I not what you mean about the yo-yo effect but don't think that's what's going on. Even at this current weight, I have slowly lost 44 pounds.
I do have a lifestyle plan and part of it is not to feel deprived. I feel like I have accomplished that goal the last month and a half! Lol.
Back to eating healthy, doing the ocassional glass of wine and getting the exercise that I have been lacking. It will take me about a month and a half to lose the 17 pounds and I will be right back on track. We need to stay positive and I am very much positive of it. Again, thanks for the advice, you are sooooo right about a plan for life. :)

We have to live life and enjoying your vacation is part of it. A good part of the gain is water. You have a plan, just get back to it, glad you enjoyed your time!

Sounds like you had a great vacation. I think half of your weight gain is water and that will come off easily.

Glad that it was part of your plan, I just know how hard you have worked to lose. I know you can do those last 17. I've lost then gained back way too many times

I wouldn't worry too much about your recent gain. It is obvious that you can get it back off. Vacations and mini-breaks are important. Stress is a major reason that we gain weight, so it is important that we take the time to de-stress. Part of plan is knowing that you WILL fluctuate...and that you CAN handle it. You seem to have such a positive outlook on getting back on track, so it is obvious that you will lose it almost as quickly as you gained it. :)

I lost my voice while sick. When I tried to talk, it sounded like I was squeaking...so my husband nicknamed me Mousy. :)

By the way, I love your image. It perfectly describes my new adventure with my own weight loss.
