I have made a lot of exceptions here at the end of the summer, but I intend to be planted more or less firmly in one place for about 7 weeks, and then I don't expect to be away more than a long weekend, if that. And even if I have not done a perfect job with the eating, it has often coincided with increased physical activity, whether swimming, increased walking, or something else that the fine weather lends itself to. Even house and garden work contribute a lot, if I can keep that going. Winter will be hard, but we are not there yet, and a lot can happen between now and then....
