Can you divide them into small portions, put each in a plastic bag, then 'treat yourself' when you've done a good job in some way?

I agree...measure out a serving or half serving and put in individual snack baggies with he calories written on it. Then go ahead and enjoy with moderation👍💙

Such great advice everyone! I ended up leaving the kitchen completely. And reading a book in my bedroom. Problem solved!
But I think measuring it and dividing it is a great idea. Because in the past, I would just pour into a bowl and let all hell break loose. Lol

I feel your pain. In the category of self inflicted wounds, I bought 3 boxes of thin mints 3 weeks ago. When I got them home, Ms.G. says - you like thin mints, I like the trefoils and lemon creams. Doh!!!. They are still there unopened but they call to me all hours of the day and night. I should just take them to the office and leave them next to the coffee. Or, better yet. Just drive around with them and hand out boxes to random homeless folks at stop lights.
