Day 28 A small drop again although my weight is 1kg more than it was six days ago it's likely more reflective of my true weight. I have still got to be very happy about my progress at the end of the first month -That's as long as I don't add to my weight today.
I had a really nice long run yesterday despite taking it very easy for most of it I took two minutes off previous best time for this particular 17Km route. I need to make sure I don't pick up an injury before my 1/2 marathon in 20 days time. I am very excited about this race as it is a large stepping stone towards a lifetime ambition. Aged 24 I picked up a bad knee injury just two weeks before a marathon apart from a few 5k's in 2017 I haven't ran in 41 years. With a little luck and some care at the rate things are going I will be properly ready for 26 miles around September/October this year.
I got the trimmer out yesterday and started to tackle the grass but the weather is windy and rainy today so gardening may not be an option. Tomorrow I have a routine Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screening at a local hospital. I'm quite pleased that they will be seeing my 76kg belly rather than the 95kg one.
