I have figured that I am not drinking enough water. And not eating what I should.

I've been trying to teach my dad chess (He is 70). Right now, I am trying to teach him the Opposition between a pawn on the 5th rank with the Black King. I set up the position, and said 'Black to move and draw... OR White to move and promote.

I really should be charging for this. I typically charge 30 an hour for teaching chess. It's a hard type of subject. So many things to remember.

If he ever gets enough time, I will challenge him to a 1 hour game. That way I can test him to his true potential. I think he is much stronger than a 1100-1399 player. Probably about 1400-1600. Technically, the Opposition is an easy thing to learn. Distant Opposition isn't that bad either.

All he needs to remember the rules of the Opposition. He has the potential, but he pouted when I told him he was wrong. I used the King and Pawn vs King endgame. It involves the right moves, and it involves the Opposition.

My eating has gone downhill, I am just so busy. Ha, not really. March Madness is on, so that's what's making my time short. TNT and TBS are some of the stations. It's just crazy.
