My legs hurt more last night. My arms sting a little today, but over all, last night was worse and really not that bad today.

I suggest to NOT do that again. You are over-training and will do more harm than good when it comes to weight loss. You also should not be working more than a couple major muscle groups in a session either.
You be working a major group only once every 3-4 days otherwise you risk tearing muscles and causing damage as opposed to growth. Tears cause them to swell and retain water and could also do long term damage.
Most gyms will allow you to consult with a trainer at no cost to determine a good routine to follow, if not Google around to find one that meets your goals.
Good luck!

are you following a set program when at the gym or just wandering around doing whatever comes to mind? If youre on a set program then you shouldnt take more than an hour to do a workout and youll still get shredded. look into Kris Gethin's 12-week trainer or something of the like. Following a set routine will give you much more success! I have followed both of Gethin's programs and they are excellent!

I was there because I couldn't go home until hubby could meet me there. My legs hurt from cardio, and I did shoulders only. The trainer I worked with last night knew my situation. The 2.5 hours also included stretching. I did not go super fast during the cardio. I was safe, but thanks for your concern. Most of the time I do 30 mins to 1hr, which would include cardio and a little weight training, some stretching. I do not plan on always being there so long, only when Hubby has plans and I can't make any matching ones. I am hoping I will be able to be home alone by Thanksgiving, mostly because I have to take a day off from work to cook and Hubby can't take that day off. LOL
