Good morning ya'll. Woke up with a dry raspy throat. Must have slept with my mouth open part of the night. Down another pound. Don't feel good. No elevated temperature. So, I must be fine. Didn't sleep good last night. The baby kept waking up crying. She took her usual nap at the right time yesterday. Anyhow, she is sleeping real good right now.

Hope your throat gets better! It's horrible when you can't shout at the husband! Lol

Lololololol! Thanks Leanne. I'd have to have a pretty good voice to shout to northern Illinois as he and I are nearly a state away from each other until Friday night.

Sorry about your throat, hopefully it is only that you slept with your mouth open, and not something more....rest up today, feel better. Glad the baby is sleeping soundly now. Try to keep the shouting to a minimum..:)

OH NO, I'm sorry your not feeling well. Being sick for the Holiday's is just not good. Hope you get over this really soon. Take some Echinacia. It works wonders for me. I pop 2 in the am and 2 in the pm at the first sign of getting sick. It seems to stop it or I don't get as sick. So start popping now. Home you have a great day and stay safe.:)

Do you have humidifiers? Sometimes that raspy throat in winter is caused by the air in the house being too dry - not that it's a problem here in Seattle. It's been so rainy and windy for so long that everything is damp - even in the house.

Thanks Laurie, Suzanne, and Runesinger! Have two humidifiers just not in my bedroom at my daughter's house. I did get the little coffee pot, guess that the next appliance I buy needs to be another humidifier. We just bought a great big one at my home in northern Illinois. We have two fireplace inserts. The wood burner that was installed outside is supposed to be running soon. I'm not holding my breath because I might pass out. The two guys working on it also are working on several others at the same time. Wouldn't it make a nice Christmas present if they got it done before Christmas morning.
