For those who followed yesterday's posts - the verdict is in after a 2800 plus cal night. How much did she gain in water weight?
Drum roll please...
A WHOLE WHOPPING 2 LBS!!!
All joking aside, when I compare this water weight gain back to the "deficit" days of yore when I had a maintenance day or a night out, 2 lbs is pretty chintzy! But, I'll take it for sure and be thankful. 80 lbs ago, I not only weighed more, but I literally gained upwards of 7 lbs. in one night from eating the same amount of cals.
So, why am I retaining less now? I'm not sure. It may be that I drink less. I had about 2 full glasses of wine, which is about 16 ounces. However, back in the day - half a magnum was standard. In fact, if anyone goes wayee back in my journal entries - they will often see I refer to myself as a "human aquifer". LOL
Anywho, it's time to take all those macros and put them to good use. I have strength training today so we will give this body some good movement to use them on! Have a blessed day and a wonderful week, everyone!
