Ok Back to some normalcy...

Scale Comparison:

Bathroom Scale: 217.4
FitBit Scale: 217.7

Being Conservative, I will go with Fitbit. The outing was fun and it was good to let off some steam. Feeling a bit bushed..

Thoughts of the Day:

1) Rollercoaster - Weight loss is not a sprint but a marathon. The more you think you are headed straight to you goal, a plateau or a bump up in weight hits you. The truth of the matter is that a chart will look like a mountain range with peaks and valleys. It will be a rollercoaster but no one ever said it would be easy. Have patience, look at your overall trend and if the trend is pointing in a gain direction, examine your caloric intake and physical exertion...the trend should be a week of two long not 3 days. Good luck!

2) Back and Forth - Personal relationships can be weird at times. I am not talking about your spouses or family. I am talking your co-workers. I have a few co-workers of the female variety who I feel like they look for me or hang on my every word. That weird feeling has grown with the weight loss. Now, they are very good friends and they are cheering my weight loss but at times the back and forth conversation looks to be almost flirty. I pull back and they will say something funny. It may just all be in my mind but I need to make sure I don't encourage something that just will never be.

LOL - flirty may be possible; but think about it - you feel great about yourself with your weight loss and have energy you likely lacked in the past. When we carry ourselves differently, the whole world looks better and people respond to us more positively! SO, they may be attracted to you, or attracted to your success and positive attitude!

my sister used to say just because you are on a diet doesn't mean that you can't read the menu :D I am sure they are flirting with you. Be flattered and I totally agree with HCB When you feel good you look great!!! People respond to that positive energy!
