Vacation at the beach sounds heavenly. Try to get some good relaxation time in. I really hope everything turns out for the better with the eaglet.

Congratulations on the weight loss, Mary Ellen. I am so saddened to hear about "our" eaglet. Hope you can convince the bureaucatic knuckle heads to get off their collective arses and do something. I will join Lenny in praying that something gets done. Maybe contacting the media, and asking them to do a story about no one helping will get a response? I have done that before when I wasn't getting any satisfaction from the powers that be. But remember, as Lenny said, you can only do what you can. Try to enjoy your beach vacation, dear heart.

It's awful that someone can't take over and care for the baby. If there are a lot of humans around, or if the baby is weak the parents might not care for it. It may be on it's own. I'm sure we can all relate to needing to find the strength in ourselves for our own survival. With that said, I pray someone will care for it til it can soar. Congrats on the loss. It appears as if you are soaring just fine.

Thanks you my dear friends, its been a trying few days,so much red tape had to get other people who cared enought to start phoning.Yes the paper was called Stef, pictures were taken of this beautiful baby sitting out in the hot Fl sun.But I have to say there is a bittersweet ending, she was recused this afternoon 2:00 PM Fl time and I had the privilege off seeing this majestic creature up close and personal in the arms of her resurer. She will be taken to Orlando, evulated, she is blind in one eye and will not be release out into the wild. She does not know how to get food. They will try very hard to place and if they can't this is the bitter part which I never want to know about, she will be put to sleep. So I am mentality spent and crying too.So thanks for the comments love you all but I can't stay on any more today, tommorrow I will be better.Luv

I see shows all the time about how they rescue and raise a variety of wild animals. I am sure it will end up on a positive note...at least that is how I will think of it. Hang in there Mary Ellen, someone is sure to love the eaglet as much as you do.
