~~~Just another manic Monday~~~
Hey everyone!! First, I want to say thank you for all the support yesterday!! I was so excited when I weighed in and had lost more!! Since January 2nd, I have gone down 60 some pounds!!! That is HUGE!!! My youngest niece weighs 52lbs, so seeing a physical representation of what that looks like, it amazes me when I see the scale number and see I have lost that and then some!! It is AMAZING!!! So thank you all for being there for me, with me, and supporting me in this crazy journey that I call life!!
Second, I am definitely no where need the end. I was at my moms the last part of this week and realized that no matter how far I have come, I still have a long way to go. I was watching my 3yr old nephew and he was all energy and running and I couldnt keep up. He would beg me to stand up and play, and I was so tired. There was even a point where I sat in a low recliner, and almost couldnt get myself back out of it. That is embarrassing to admit, I was too heavy to lift myself back out. But I know that there are loving, supportive people here who understand and will not judge that.
I am not taking away from the progress I have made, by any means, but I know that I still have a long road ahead. But I am so happy to have even made it this far!!!
Congratulations! You’re doing great! It always helps to see a representation of the pounds lost. A whole little person! 😁 I know the feeling of not being able to get back up from a low sitting chair, also chairs with arms...will I fit? It is embarrassing and why I stayed homebound for so long at my heaviest. But ya know what??? We’re working on it. One meal, one day at a time and we WILL lose it!! Determination darlin’. Before ya know it you’ll be hitting more and more NSV’s and milestones. You have every right to be proud of yourself...I’m proud ya! Woohoo! Many blessings as you continue on your journey ❤️
I so understand the feeling of being too tired to want to keep up with little ones! 🙇🏻‍♀️I used to not be able to keep up with my husband on a walk around the block! I would be out of breath in 1/2 a block and didn’t want to admit it so I wouldn’t go on walks with him because he wouldn’t slow down and was always impatient. 😣As you lose the weight it gets easier to move. I started my exercise with a recumbent bike since that was very low impact and some walking. Now a few years later I can do miles. So it’s doable! A little at a time. 🙋🏻
So proud of you! We all know the feeling of being too tired to play, too hard to get up off the floor or out of a chair or car. Thanks for sharing. Keep hanging in there. The hard part is when you think "I can just have a little of this and a little of that" and then the roller coaster starts all over again. I can look at this website and see how long and how many starts I have made over the years, so I personally know that battle. One day at a time! And keep the Lord in focus. He is helping you to become dependent on Him and to fill your life with His love, His word and His Spirit!
Yeah, I missed that post too! I'm sorry I didn't congratulate you earlier! Yes, one of the motivations for losing weight for me is the ability to move around more, so I totally get you on "being tired". I get exhausted just taking a dang shower sometimes. THAT is embarrassing for me. It is cool to realize you lost a whole person! Keep up the good work!
