Yup. Sometime ago, I used motivational videos to help me. I started using them as just sort of a distraction, when I got tired of listening to music, but then I noticed that they really seem to help. You can find them on youtube. There's a famous one by Earl Nightinggale, titled: The Strangest Secret. It's not perfect, but it's very good. Ive listened to it hundreds of times. It was recorded in the late 1950s, and I believe it was the first (and only?) million seller talk record. You might say it went viral. Anyway, you might like it.

I’ll definitely look at that HardDaysKnight! Thank you!
I think so much of my negativity is inherited...my mom was great but she’s always been more negative and a big worrier. My sisters are similar. Genes are strange. I see myself in my oldest son (more negative and serious) and I see my husband in my daughter (more happy and positive)

Maxie, we are lucky! I wish everyone had a chance to be married to someone as awesome as my guy. He isn’t perfect and our marriage isn’t perfect but I thank God for him everyday 🙂

That sounds awesome glen!
I think FS is the most positive place I’ve seen in a long time. Everyone is encouraging and helpful. It’s like a big circle where those surrounding you are cheering you on and recognizing good things about you! It’s amazing and contagious like you said.

Over the last year I have learned that our gut play a mayor role in regards to self image and sense of happiness. By healing the gut, our mind will clear up and become naturally happy.

I'm truly happy for you.
Though I don't have a
significant other to
change my mindset,
I've got you and other
awesome FS members
that support me. I'm
very grateful for that
and will stay positive.
Be blessed and healthy.
