butterflythighhighs's Journal, 12 March 2018

I've noticed that when I eat less, I don't actually feel hungry at all. I don't get hungry. I think all the times I slip up is because I crave food and eat to fill the emptiness I feel, not to quench hunger. For example, today I did not feel the need to eat, even now I'm eating so much less than usual, but as soon as I think about, say, cookies I feel the need to eat one.

I don't get hunger pangs but I also never know when I'm full - I think that realising this means I should be able to better control what and how I eat. Hopefully it all works out.

I was told by the gym staff that if you don’t feel hungry it because you are not eating enough and the body goes into survival mode and therefore clings onto fat. Why not throw away all the treats so you’re not tempted? Try to eat 3 healthy meals a day and maybe one small treat? Good luck x
