I've noticed that when I eat less, I don't actually feel hungry at all. I don't get hungry. I think all the times I slip up is because I crave food and eat to fill the emptiness I feel, not to quench hunger. For example, today I did not feel the need to eat, even now I'm eating so much less than usual, but as soon as I think about, say, cookies I feel the need to eat one.
I don't get hunger pangs but I also never know when I'm full - I think that realising this means I should be able to better control what and how I eat. Hopefully it all works out.
