Note to self: reduce fats from condiments and oil - cooking with olive oil causes my % of calories from fat to be way out of line and adds so many calories. I get more calories from little amounts of olive oil or mayonnaise on a sandwich than the whole rest of the meal combined sometimes. Not going to switch to low fat mayo but I suppose I could switch from cast iron to non stick. Red potatoes crisped up in olive oil - next time, ditch the potatoes altogether, they aren't needed. I haven't lost any weight yet since being on this app but I have learned a lot about what needs to be changed. I hope next month starts the downward trend.
nonfat rather than full fat yogurt
reduce nuts and oils
reduce butter
don't eat what isn't really needed. I really didn't need those potatoes today! Perfectly happy with an omelette

Do you use an oil mister? I used to have a Mr. Misto and I loved it! It only sprays about 11 calories of olive oil and you get to keep your favorite skillet.

I will try that. I've been measuring for now and down to a tsp or less of olive oil for cooking. If I just pour, more goes in!

I don’t do Mayo, ketchup (unless it’s fries), ranch no dressing at all. Yeap dressing sometimes double ur calories

I can't eat a sandwich without some mayo! But I have it down to less than a tsp and on the bread I load up with this delicious condiment: Suns of Italy ground hot cherry peppers. This is a staple for PA "hoagies" but is sometimes hard to find in other parts of the country.
