Well, after a week on vacation, I'm home. I ate well - lots of seafood and veggies, packed a picnic lunch every day and cooked breakfast of eggs every morning. I let in a few healthy carbs, but no sugar, baked goods, fried foods or alcohol, I gained 7 lbs. I'm shocked; I thought I was doing pretty well (but without a food scale or a body weight scale). I know it's probably that glycogen recharge, but wow! Just from a few strawberries, carrots and polenta (and Okay, a little Halo Top -twice) So today, I'm back to strict keto. Discouraging.
