I am finally eating well on Phase 2 and losing consistently and it feels great. I love being able to eat WW bread or brown rice and fruit, and not have to worry I am eating things that will make the scale go up. I am now seeing the scale go down about 1/2 lb every other day which is perfectly fine with me. I will chart my weight tomorrow. But I think the key to eating the good carbs is to make sure you exercise. I am not doing a lot, just riding my stationary bike for 30 minutes just about every night. Probably 5 times a week. And doing lots of crunches throughout the day. Seems to be working. MUST LOSE THE BABY BELLY!!!!! I tell myself that all day long to make myself do crunches. I am getting thinner and yet still have that dang belly pouch sticking out in my jeans!! Hate it!! but I can get there. done it before, will do it again! Ok. stomach is growling, better go feed it!

Keep up your great work! Its amazing how you can eat foods now that were so off limits and still lose weight!

Your chart looks awesome. You are really losing 1/2 pound every two days? I would be thrilled with that. I haven't weighed myself yet since the first tim, I'm scale-a-phobic. I hope I do as well as you when I go to level 2. I am going to go peek at your food journal for tips! Thanks for the inspiration, I was feeling a little doubtful this morning.

(Lotus)I am averaging about that in weight loss give or take a couple ounces. I guess it is averaging to about 2 lbs a week so far. We'll see if it stays that way. I am not really journaling my food on here, I used thedailyplate instead. Seems to be much more accurate. Plus you can enter in your weight, and the rate you would like to lose weight at, and it will tell you the amount of calories you can have each day and lose at that pace. I didn't count calories the first several months i was on this plan, but now that i am eating a lot more good carbs, I have been watching my calories too. So far I have been keeping it around 900-1200 a day. but it says i can have 1800 and still lose at a rate of 2lb a week. I am really anxious to see your weigh in. You have been doing great and really getting in great exercise. I am sure you are going to do awesome!!

wowee! you really are doing awesome!!!! i hear ya on that baby pouch tho :( i'm thinner than i was when i got pregnant with my kids but that stinkin' belly flab is still there. i got really bad stretch marks too, so sadly, what i'm seeing on me i think is there for good...i can't make that skin take its shape back, its been ripped and torn beyond recognition *tear* 5 yrs later i think its about as good as it'll get for me. but thats ok, i have my kids and they rock ;) so its worth it...keep up the good work and enjoy your day!

AWESOME!! Now, you'll have to tell me how you do the rate thing to lose so much a week on the plate! I haven't figured that out yet. ;)

I am so encouraged by your positive feelings on Phase II. I resisted going over for a few months because my weight loss has been slow, but I read wheere Dr. A. of SBD fame said that it was a mistake to stay on phase 1 too long, that people lose most of their weight in the next 2 phases, and so I am now in phase 2. He was right, not eating as we do in phase 2 isn't natural, or the healthiest-so thanx for your input.......

BT-when you go to dailyplate, on the top it says Calorie goals or something along those lines. just click there and it will take you to where you enter your weight, height, lbs per week to lose,ect..and it will calculate it. for my weight/height and desire to lose 2lb a week, it said i could eat 1800 calories a day. but i try to keep it closer to 1200. if that doesn't help, let me know i will look and find out for sure how to get you there.

susie...i had really stalled on my weight loss on ph1 but really wanted to lose quickly so i kept doing it. then finally i moved to ph2 and started losing again. so double yay! better food and losing weight again. don't be afraid of ph2, just work into it gradually and it will work for you!!
