Doing well, the Cortisone injections for the arthritis in my spine on Monday helped. Today I walked about a half-mile and was fine. I wasn't able to walk much at all before the injections, and my feet were hurting too, so it helped a lot. I will be able to go to the gym soon I believe and start working out again. The shots hurt but it was worth it. Now I'll be able to exercise and warmer weather will be here in a few months and that should help too. The diet is easy to follow I just wish I was a better cook. I hate wasting time cooking. The writing is going well. I am keeping busy in my spare time with that and reading too. I don't watch TV much except a few shows, some soaps mainly and they're lame - so unrealistic - it's no wonder the audience for those shows are tuning out - I'll bet within five to ten years there will be maybe only two left if that on daytime. I do watch sports too, but am trying to focus on things that will help with the writing. I hope to move to a warmer climate within the next few years - Hawaii, Arizona or Florida maybe so the arthritis isn't so bad, mine is worse from the cold. I think I'll make it to my goal weight by summer...

I'm glad to hear that you are avoiding the snow storms and that the cortisone is working for you. I *do* like to cook but mostly only when I have an audience. :-)
