TODAYS PSA: Calories are bulls**t. Like for real. Just stop. You cannot tell me that 100 calories of banana are the same as 100 calories of ice cream; they are not - they just aren't. They have NOTHING in common. The QUALITY of the food your are eating is what matters. If you are hungry all the time and hate the foods you are eating, check out LCHF. Fat is NOT the enemy. Sugar/Carbs are. Skip your bread at dinner and have some more meat and veggies. Throw some butter on them and ENJOY it. Don't deprive yourself and starve yourself. There is a better way.

Re-starting my LCHF journey on tomorrow. I have prepped my egg bake and I've got beef in the crock pot to shred. I'm not looking forward to going cold-turkey without soda. But it needs to be done. DOWN WITH THE ENEMY! SUGAR-DEMON BEGONE!

Diet Calendar Entry for 13 November 2016:
15 kcal Fat: 0.73g | Prot: 0.00g | Carb: 1.47g.   Breakfast: Coffee-Mate Original Liquid Coffee Creamer. more...

Agree, if you do not like/enjoy what you are eating you will just eat more in the search to be satisfied. Make good choices and make your calories count. avoid all those empty calories that do you no good.

Nothing like real meat and veggies to fill and satisfy, cooked with enough good fats, who could be hungry after that? You get the right nutrients, and you just don't go craving more.

Preach it! I have been slowly working the sugar out one product at a time for months now and I agree, soda, particularly cans of Pepsi, are my kryptonite. Keep making the choices one bite at a time.

Good luck Dewy! I'm also doing the LCHF diet and it is working... slowly. Just remember, you also have to reduce the number of calories either by not consuming as much or by exercising or preferably both. I need to start exercising myself, especially this time of year with holidays and food everywhere. I agree with you that the best thing about LCHF is you don't feel hungry most of the time like you do on a low fat diet.
