kimberly rae's Journal, 11 September 2016

I've been reading the most compelling book and wanted to share it. It's called "The Obesity Code' and goes into detail on all the latest research. Please do yourselves a favor as some of our habits here - particularly eat less, exercise more - are clearly not working for the long haul.

I also happened to want to see again the old weight charts to see if I was indeed currently obese and found this chart from the highest source, the NIH National Institute of Health. It suggested that I am under obese by a hair, and that my normal range ends by 159, which felt exactly right to me. here is that chart...

and here is the link to the book. I think you owe it to yourselves to be informed...

we share whatever works. Thanks buddies.

I found Dr. Fung a few months ago, and his information turned everything I knew upside down. He has a 6-part lecture series on YouTube called, "The Aetiology of Obesity", and it covers most of the information in the book. I'm glad you found the info too!

Love Dr. Fung, I've learned so much from him. Nice to know his work is based on actual studies and science. Also good to see that he debunks some studies. Dr. Fung also has a blog on the Intensive Dietary Management webpage. There's a tab at the top for other lectures and you can sign up to have his weekly blogs delivered to your email. Good luck.

Great Find Kimberly. I also have the The weight watchers diet book from 1980's that I originally lost my weight when I was 19 and pretty much kept it off until my late 30's and then gain in my early 40's. Have a super Sunday Pam and Buddy the Cat :)
