Are you losing? 

Mmmmmm.......bacon.......HAH! Love it! I usually have 2-3 slices 3 days a week. 

LOL - maybe two slices is enough??? LOL 

Probably not...but i can see you adding a strip to the pan...then two then three, wrapping the rest to put back in the fridge...then screw it, put it all in the pan  

I cut back on bacon because of the nitrates. If I cook it (uncured, nitrate free) I cook the whole pack at once, usually in the oven, way less mess. Then I spread it out over two weeks or so. Since it is fully cooked it will not go bad for quite some time.  

Nitrates being harmful to health is a myth repeated so often, it's assumed to be fact: 1. We produce nitrites in our Saliva with 70-90% of our total nitrite exposure to nitrites from our own saliva. 2. Over 90% of the nitrites from food is from vegetables. Two servings of butter lettuce, four servings of celery or beets have more nitrites than 467 hot dogs!!! and your saliva has more nitrites than all of them. All that aside neither nitrates or nitrites accumulate in the body...period, it is excreted in urine within 5hrs, and any that is absorbed is gone in less than 5 minutes. So go eat bacon :-)  

Bacon is good... i ate more bacon in my whole life in a matter of months and I'm not being sarcastic... if anything I feel bad for the pigs tho :( 

I feel the same way... I eat bacon but I think pigs are the cutest things on earth...sucks we have to kill to survive
