I'm not logging it yet, but this morning I weighed in at 159.6... Below 160, WOOHOO!! I feel like I'm finally making progress in my weight loss journey. I told my husband, and he simply asked, "Well, was it hard?". Of course it was hard, lol! He's one of the lucky ones that are naturally thin, and he has no idea what it's like to actually have to work at losing weight. But, him asking me that made me think of a quote I once heard.... " If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you." So yes, it was hard, challenging, and at times, frustrating, but I put forth the effort and my efforts are paying off :)

I just got back home from walking, and saw all these comments... Thanks, everyone, for the support! You all are great! As for the walk... I did 5.4 miles, and some of that was uphill! My legs hurt so bad I can barely walk. I went with friends, and probably pushed myself waaaay too hard, but 5.4 miles?! I still can't believe I did it! I popped some ibuprofen when I walked thru the door, took a hot shower, and limped to the couch. I may be here for a while... My poor little legs are like limp noodles. I'm exhausted!

If you have some - take two or three magnesium tablets, too. They reduce muscle soreness.

Great job Jessberry! You earned it with all that hard work! My husband too is naturally thin, but he's like "all you lost is 5 lbs? You should work out more..." So annoying... I'm glad you have a curious husband!!
