I just tell everyone I wear them to look smarter. It has nothing to do with old age.

They look really nice. I don't like wearing them and often take them off around the house 

Thanks Fritzy! Same! I have them for seeing distance and driving so need to get adjusted to them first but I have a feeling that I will not be wearing them when I am working and around the house😅 

When i first started wearing glasses think i was in my late 40’s or early 50’s. Readers. I decided to embrace it and bought some outlandish readers. Think extreme cat eyes from the 50’s encrusted with rhinestones all the way around or oversized John Lennon round ones and so on. Great conversation starters. Now that im not working i only tend to wear them when im reading a book or looking at something on my iPad for too long. You look great. It’s just part of aging. The alternative is to not be upright i guess. 

I'm very lucky that I don't need readers but my husband has them in every room in the house! That's a good style for you. Looks good! 

I’m not kidding almost to the day that I turned 40, I needed glasses. Has nothing to do with aging. I don’t believe that because there are tons of kids with glasses and my daughter got them very young, so did my brother and my husband. I was like you at first, just needed them for reading but now I even have progressives, and I can’t see near or far. I am blind as a bat. 😳 

Oh and these look nice D. You’ll get used to them. My only concern when I got glasses was how on earth would I work out with them on because I sweat so much but you won’t even realize they’re on your face after a while. That’s how I am. 

In a few years you may develop cataracts and you can have them removed. Then once again you don't need glasses.

Its so hard but they look good on you! I only have one bad eye, wondering if I should go with the monocle or if I'd look too sophisticated

neicy: they look great on you!! fit you very well! it is tough to get used to... i wear glasses daily, to this day my ADHD self forgets they are on my face so if i need to rub my eye, i bash my glasses... ive been wearing glasses since middle school 

DAZEY_iz_Well it's when your eyes are too bad for lasik 🤣 then you need prk it's more involved
