Today I finished up a weekend of processing food from our garden. I try to do it mostly on the weekends because it's just to busy during the week. However tomorrow night we are making salsa. =) I love fresh salsa. Any way I shredded 5 cups of zucchini, made 16 quarts of tomato juice (for my father in law for Christmas) and I did up 31 cups of hash browns. Some of the potatoes we grew this year are purple! They are so dark purple the outside almost looks black. I like knowing where my food is coming from and what has been put on it. I don't always get that so I appreciate the work my hubby puts in out the garden, which is his distressing from work. Works for me. =)
