YAY!!!!! I have made it to day 3 of my fast!!! I am now in the zone! Happy, Happy, so Happy! I break my fast tomorrow morning. I am not hungry, I am not cranky! And it's been a tough week at work because we got a new Post Master, she's not the problem, she is a nice lady...but the transition from one PM to another is tricky if someone drops the ball, and they did and all the clerks in my APO cluster lost access to all of the computer apps that are required to do day to day business, so we have stuff piling up that we need to enter into the computer and it's very frustrating. Hopefully everything will be re-approved by Monday and we can clear the last five days work off of our desks and move forward. Anyways....I'm feeling pretty good right now, I might go grocery shopping!

Awesome! I will pick up the fasting torch tomorrow after dinner and pass it back to you mid week. It is great when you can do 3-5 days relatively painlessly 🤜🤛

Thanks Snow! Lady D, it's one of those months that everything seems to either be needing attention or replacement. Hubby's Honda CRV that he has driven since 2015 has almost 300,000 miles on it.....he used it for work as a rural carrier also...it's body is badly beaten from the job, but now the engine is on it's way out. Way to expensive to put an engine into a body that is deteriorating badly so we are also hunting for a truck to replace it with....no way are we going with a new one. Those prices would buy a decent house with acreage!!!! It would not be so bad if I was not already 6,000.00 in the hole to my eye surgery, but it is what it is! I really don't stress about those things too much, they will work themselves out eventually. We don't replace things automatically....we repair and maintain something till it is completely used up and there is no point in trying to fix problem one because there are 15 other problems that need fixing on it also. We got our money's worth out of the Honda, it can retire knowing it had a good productive life.

With 300,000 mi. that car doesn't owe you anything more. Good luck finding the next, and may it serve you well.

Breaking fridge, broken car, recent illness - that is a lot ((hug)) IDGAF doesn't help and you are squaring up - it's the best way forward ❤️

Yes, but body is healing and mind is strong. Relationship good! The fridge and the car are replaceable. Let's keep some perspective. Nobody died.

LOLOLOL yeah, the fridge, when I moved everything out of it I saw that the back wall of the freezer was frosted over with a very thick frost that is not supposed to be there. There was also a puddle of ice in the very bottom below the evaporator drain, this is new....so we took the shelves out took the back wall off and saw the coils were totally frozen....went to google that is usually caused by bad seals...we have good seals or someone leaving the door ajar for a prolonged period of time and the ice in the bottom indicates that the evaporator drain is clogged. So we pulled it out, cleaned the coils and fan....guess what was in there.....dog hair and plenty of it...oye vey! That done, we placed a small electric heater on a shelf and partially closed the door for a few hours to thaw it out, then opened the door and cleaned out the evaporator drain with a brush...that was nasty!! then we flushed it with hot water. Set a big fan in front of it with both doors wide open and let it dry....put it back together, closed it up, plugged it in....refrigerator is at 37 degrees, freezer is at 0....voila. It was a simple thing, just needed some maintenance. I forget about the dog hair increase since we got Missy, I have to clean the A/c filters every week, vacuum twice a day, but the stuff that goes under things like the Fridge, freezer, stove and dishwasher never gets thought about....out of sight out of mind...well they have all been pulled out and cleaned now, I think there were three or four medium sized dogs worth of hair!!

We should rename Missy to Fluffy, her hair floats it gets on the ceiling fans, on top of the cabinets, on the drapes and the walls, it's a constant battle to get it all, now I have a few more places I need to run the skinny vacuum attachment into. I might even need to buy more specialized attachments to get deep under the refrigerator coils so I don't have to pull it out and tilt it over while he cleans it. More work on a Sunday than I was planning, but I can cancel the new refrigerator order tomorrow....that will cost me 100.00 bucks but that's sooooo much better than 1,900.00....I'll take it!!
