A combination of the people here and using the food diary. Another thing that helped more than I realized is doing my 'Weekly Weigh-In' using the FatSecret Reports. I'll be starting up again with all info this week. Again, going back to #18 format. Hope this helps :-)

One thing I do is follow a macros diet and try to stick close to my numbers. One thing though is make sure what you are recording is correct. Some entries can be off and if possible weigh your food to get a good idea what a Tablespoon of peanut butter really looks like. Also as you get closer to your goal it does take tweaking. Sometimes increasing calories will help but each individual is different. I am no expert and have followed many diets over the years but I am in my 4th year of strength training and staying away as much as possible from processed foods. I always try to hit my 120 grams of protein a day. FS is a great tool and great place for help!

Total calories? Are you still doing incline walking? Something needs to be adjusted. At your weight, unless you are shredded, you should be able to burn off 2lbs a week pretty easily.

Breezy and red thanks for the tips. Weekly weigh ins help. Getting my protein macro up as high as can helps too

@MeltMyGut--If you take an hour once a week you can put together meals that will be ready set go when you want them. It took me an hour and a half to put together a Chicken Soup, Chicken Salads that are good for 5 days in the fridge. I'm not a chef and I don't slave over a stove. I hope this helps, you :-) There's great advice here :-)

Hi meltmygut. 80% of this is what we eat but it’s difficult to lose without the exercise. It doesn’t have to be intense or complicated, especially in the beginning. Just start with walking. Getting the body moving is a huge part of this process.

Sometimes diets get stagnant. Mix up your routine a bit. Not sure what you eat but try more protein. It will fill you up. Eat more fiber for same reason and make sure you are exercising. You got this!👍
