I have returned from a wonderful visit back home to see my family. While I did make some good choices and got exercise, I took the week off from tracking. Making a conscious decision to do this and deal with the consequences allowed me to really relax and enjoy myself.
Now, I hesitate to even step back on the scale. I want to give myself a few days to get back in the groove without those numbers depressing me! I have been to the gym everyday since I returned and I have gotten back to tracking my food. Back to the plan! I am feeling great, getting back on track. I exercised a bit on the trip, but nothing as intense as I am used to doing most days at home. Doing my normal workouts again was a bit of a challenge at first, but three days in, I am feeling good.
