Adventures with Natto, Episode 4. Garlic and Ginger Pork Fried Rice with Natto and Cabbage. Really kicked up the level of garlic in this one…two whole cloves and a decent amount of ginger. Outcome: Yum! Still needs something though…🤔

Nice. I agree with BlueDog, sesame oil. And kimchi instead of cabbage. I coat the cooked rice with eggs first then stir fry when I make fried rice.

Rick, maybe I’ll throw some Honey Smacks in there😂. If this were Mexican I’d try lime juice. I actually bought sesame oil last week but didn’t even think to open it yet…it has a much lower smoke point, right? Maybe a drizzle right at the end of cooking? I keep thinking maybe an oyster sauce would add what I’m looking for too…or maybe a garlic chili marinade for the pork? I saw a recipe where the writer marinaded leftover pork and supposedly had great results. Maybe even some bonito flakes? Next time…

😂🤤 Really tho, Honey is an underated carb. It's full of nutrients and antioxidants with a little lower g.i then sugar and not to mention delicious on just about anything. And the stuff never goes bad, it'll store forever.
