I have a friend who is a type 2 diabetic and she truly loves caramel apples but rarely eats them. When I went to the store on Wednesday I saw the cutest little apples. When I was a kid we had apples like that that we called “crab apples”. They were MAYBE the size of a ping pong ball. So I made 4 little caramel apples for her to enjoy on Thanksgiving . She doesn’t have family close by so it was just she and her adult son so they were going to have a low key day and skip the pie. She loved them and was so thrilled that I remembered. So easy to show people how much you appreciate their presence in your life.
