Did worse than I thought I would yesterday. Losing weight is a skill like any other, I think - it must be practiced using specific steps.
Step one: record food. Step two: reduce calories. Working on getting step one rolling.
It's that TOM this week and I do feel blah. Not as bad as PMS just wondering what I can do to get myself enthusiastic again - you know, the brain works very badly because I do know that I'll be fine by the weekend but that is SOOO far away!
My manager at the tax place quit - he got a job that is going to extend past April 18th and he had to start Monday. Not that he was any help really but it's odd to be with even less support at the tax job.
Ok, dancing tonight at least will be fun - I have decided to wear my studded tank top and sparkly skirt. Funny though - after two evenings at dance, my daughter is a star (gone back to school now though) - I am, once again, relegated to being "V's mom" now that she was on the scene! I miss her. Looks like she will be home for the summer though, and maybe her sister will too - turns out my ex is dating the hiring manager of his company so our daughter D got an interview for a summer internship even though she missed the application deadline. Haha at least the ex is good for something!
Woody and I continue to be an "item" and are getting to be good friends - not sure I am looking for much more than that and neither is he so that is a good thing. Not as much excitement for me as for one of my buddies who is traveling so much with her new/old beau but it is working for me!
Once again got a flash of myself in a full length overlit mirror after a shower and got my mind set on losing weight more consistently. Cross your fingers for me!
