Had requests to share my tummy tuck journey. Day before surgery vs 7 days post op. Still recovering but you can see the difference. Still can’t stand up straight as you can see😀

I saw a comment of yours at another member's post and i was about to ask how did it go. I did not expect you getting back so soon! You have guts! How about pain level and restrictions ?

Thanks for checking in! The first 3 days were on the couch and painful. Still hurts but livable. Should be able to lay and stand flat by the end of this week. It’s amazing how different I view my body. Just by removing the skin I look athletic now instead of obese. I know it’s mostly in my head, but I feel mentally better.

Wow- I didn't see it either. OUCH!! This one is scary and painful to look at but then the one from today makes it seem so worth it. For whatever reason I am convinced I would die from the surgery- but if I didn't- I would love to have it. So much skin! So glad you are recovering well!! 🤸🏻♀️💕

Nice. Where u able to walk after surgery ? What did the doctor say about the scar, how does the new belly button feel? AND what did cost,?😃

I just saw the questions. I was able to walk after surgery, just hunched over and not far. As soon as I woke up they were dressing me and wheeling me out to the car. The scar is normal. Mine is 27” long which is longer than I expected, but every person is different. It’s healing well. 5 week post op now my belly button looks kinda normal ish😀It cost just under $10k which is what I’ve seen as pretty standard.

Thanks for your reply. My main worry was if i can could get up to use the bathroom without help 🤪🤪 The price is about what I've heard too....... Did u use hospital or private plastic surgeon? I live plan to do it in Lexington KY where i live

Getting up was difficult. My doctor made me have an adult with me for the first 24 hrs. I did need help getting up for about 3 days. I used a plastic surgeon. The first 3-4 days suck and I needed help, but after that it’s doable
