laurar234's Journal, 19 June 2021

I have been married for 19 years. Before we got married I weighed comfortably in the low-mid 170’s. I have been in the mid 180’s since then and I hate my lack of willpower. I am determined to finally, finally lower my BMI to normal range - it has, as long as I have been aware of BMI, always been 30-31, obese. My biggest problem is good beer and the late night snackies that come with. I am also fighting my doctor about going on high cholesterol meds - and I know I will have to give in next bloodwork update if I dont make changes.
To do that, I have to lose 40+ pounds.

So I am working on getting stronger through yoga and at-home cardio and weights work. Strength bands. Closing my rings every single day. Adrienne Mishler’s daily yoga calendar is awesome, fun, and empowering. I really want to run again as well. And I want to have toned arms and seriously change the bad fat around my short-waisted middle. I realy like the FS app and reading the community posts. I am inspired by all of you and am cheering on those who are having struggles. You stick with it, get back to it after a bad day! I will too. Thank you all for just being there and sharing your journeys. In Joy - Laura
