Running/Treadmill Challenge - 02/03/14 to 02/09/14

10.66 km or 6.62 miles. Managed to get out 3 times last week.

Weekend was good. I managed to not go too overboard on the eating. And the scale is showing that as I was down half a pound this morning. Just need to stick with it for the week and get out running and I should see a difference on the scale on Friday when I weigh in!

It was a good weekend. Helped out at the farm on Saturday. Lots of moving of hay and straw. And chores.

Feeling better about the kindergarten situation and which school to send my son too. We are going to start with the public school and if it's not working out then we will take a look at the private school. Still praying about this though!

On Sunday, our pastor announced that he was resigning. My poor mom, she is very upset about this as are a lot of other people in the church. I tried to tell her that perhaps, another pastor will come along that is more what the church needs. I don't like change but I think my mom hates it even more!

Have a great Monday!

Keep up the great work on that running challenge, you're rocking it! My son will be starting kindergarten next fall as well. Right now he attends a private Christian preschool, and I'm worried about how difficult of a transition it will be for him moving to public school with the boat load of kids and buses, etc. I guess as moms our primary job is to worry. My daughter never worried me nearly as much, she's much more bold and outgoing... but there is something about a mother/son relationship, totally different. Don't stress too much, we'll survive and so will they.

God knows what's best! I think that you made a good decision with schools. :)

Our pastor resigned about 5 years ago and now his replacement just resigned last month. Since we are Presbyterian we have to wait a year before we can get another replacement and we have to use what they call "pulpit supply". Gives us a chance to hear others. The woman we had the last 4 years was amazing but she had no family here and she wasn't married so she went back to Hermitage near Nashville where she has friends. Change is really hard but somehow things always work out! Running should keep you down about 5 lbs. right. The rest for me is food. :)
