Christiana's Journal, 11 January 2014

Okay things have been going well but a little slowly. I didn't have a dramatic flush like I did when I first started on here but I expect some steady loses this next week. Working so much is really good on my eating. Sometimes I just don't have time to stop and so I have protein/meal replacement bars and fiber bars as snacks during the day.

I have not been drinking as much water as I would have liked but I am drinking more and less soda. So I guess that is a start.

I have also started to remember how much I like to exercise. Is that weird? I need to pick up the pace but it's going well.

Not weird at all. I love to exercise when I'm exercising routinely everyday, but if i take 2-3 days off, going back to it is hard. :/ so weird!! lol. You'll get there!! All those losses will add up in the end!

Sometimes it's easier to diet at work. It seems to keep my mind off of eating, meal "times." I also tend to eat the same things as it's easier to record my calories (yogurt for breakfast, half a p'nut butter sand on pumpernickel for lunch, celery for snack--LOL). The weekend can be difficult if I am home as I tend to "think" about meals more since hubby cooks amazing meals that smell yummy (I don't eat). Hubby is an absolutely fantastic cook! On the other hand, I can forget to eat as I did today! I was busy taking my daughter to her tennis lesson and then we went shopping at Wal-Mart afterwards. Water. I was slow on this one. Started with none, added, decrease, added, added--LOL. Today--none. I really need to work on that. I haven't seen any good challenges to join for water. The ones I've looked into seem pretty unreasonable. I just need on where you drink a total of 8 glasses a day--LOL. Exercise. You are ahead of me on this one. I have a goal to start when I hit 200. I'll start with walking, bends, lifts--nothing where I pound my joints (running, jumping jacks). I wait to do the pounding when I'm a little lighter and won't injure my joints! I hope you are having a great weekend! I really enjoyed your post--very inspirational!

Just ease into the walking, jumping, etc. And your joints will do fine, Jillzee. :) Even at my weight (308) I get out and walk, and have taken the last 10 days to ease into exercising more. I even like to jog -slowly- lol But I know I can't do that right now, so waiting til my body is more conditioned for it, and use to what I'm already asking it to do now.
