Beautiful in a stark way. Coming from South Louisiana, where everything is so green and there are so many trees, I wouldn't be able to live there, but would love to visit. The pictures are great; my favorite is the magnificent sunset. 💛

It's so good to see you back, Shir! Thanks for letting me know which picture is your favorite. The sunsets out here are one of my favorite things about being here. There's no forest here, to be sure, but there are some trees. The trees grow in the low lying washes where there's more moisture. Our campsite is on top of a mesa, where there are fewer, smaller trees.
